Allen and Audrey Murray's 133 Acre farm is in picturesque
Darlington, Maryland. The Harford County, Md. natives have been in the horse business since
1959 when they purchased an $800 broodmare. The current Murmur Farm replaced their original (1961)
Churchville operation in 1988. Both Murrays found a love of horses at an early age. Allen
grew up in Havre de Grace, MD, then a race track town. Audrey was a successful Pony Club rider.
The Murrays bought the current farm around the time that Allen retired from his engineering job.
The farm has thrived under the Murrays' close attention.
